Scammers further entice people to part with their hard-earned money by offering them free things. People always like something for nothing, and this usually seals the deal.

If it were, then everyone would be quitting their 9 to 5 jobs to rush into that business for themselves! You should also realize that once you decide to join someone's business opportunity you are actually helping to build his business. Therefore, you should never have to pay for this. I have been scammed more times than I can count so you think I should have learned my lesson by now. There was one particular scam that sounded extrememly promising. I even contacted the originator of the program and someone who I thought was making money with it. It all sounded very convincing. I had to put out over $500--not something to sneeze at. Well, after I paid, the webmaster said that it would be about two weeks before everything was in order.
Needless to say, I never heard from him or his partner in crime again. This was finally the straw that broke the camel's back. Finally, I have learned my lesson!
